Just getting ready to move is traumatic.
Either way you have to pack make arrangements etc. Here is an example of how I work -
 
During my preparation, I first found out what furniture the buyer/seller wanted to keep. then I had a professional appraiser price the things for sale and sold pieces on site.

We then secured boxes, packed and put a dumpster in the driveway along with a P.O.D.S.(portable truck)

There were still things to do in the new and old house which we took care of. Then the move. We unpacked, placed items and hung pictures etc.
 
Husband and wife did not get upset with each other and seemed to rather enjoy things getting done without stress.

They had dinner together that evening in their new home at their familiar dining room table.
 
That to me defines SERVICE, and that's what I do.
